The Barstow Harvey House

The Casa Del Desierto, also known as the Barstow Harvey House and Rail Station, is occasionally one of our touring locations.

After fires in the 1800’s the new Barstow Rail Station and Harvey House opened in 1911. Known as the “Jewel of the Desert”, it served proudly through decades as a place of rest, relaxation, and wonderful food for the weary rail traveler and those on Route 66. For both civilian and military, the service was impeccable and for a reasonable price. The spirits still linger on in and about this historical gem. We will explore its "unknown" in a search for spirits of the past to help us understand and preserve. I hope you join us on one of the Haunted Barstow Harvey House Ghost Tours and keep with you the priceless memories of this powerful experience.

The activity of spirits on my family's tour through the Harvey House was incredible. Before this evening I was not a believer. Now my family can't stop saying "Told you so."

My 2 kids are now hooked on investigating ghosts because of your incredible Harvey House ghost tour. They're even researching the history about haunted places instead of playing computer games. Thank you Bill!
